Gardaí have released without charge a man who had been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Limerick on Sunday night.

The man, aged in his 20s, was arrested yesterday and questioned at Henry Street Garda station under

section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

A woman in her 30s and a man in his 20s sustained stab wounds at Pineview Gardens, Moyross, at about 9.40pm on Sunday night.

They are being treated for minor injuries at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick.
