Gardaí are investigating a number of leads in their investigation into the death of a man whose human remains were discovered last week in Dublin's Royal Canal.
A report in today's Irish Timessaid gardaí are investigating any connection between the murder and the murder of Malawian woman Paiche Onyemaechi (24) in Co Kilkenny last summer.
The headless body of the daughter of the Malawian chief justice was found on the bank of the River Pil, Piltown, Co Kilkenny.
Her head was never found, but gardaí identified her by cross-checking her fingerprints against the asylum-seeker database.
