Gardaí have arrested a man in connection with the death of Liam McDonnell in Castlebar on Sunday morning.
The 33-year-old man was arrested shortly before 3pm today and is being detained at Castlebar garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
McDonnell, who was in his 30s, was found badly injured in the garden of an unoccupied house in the Rossmore Estate following an emergency call in the early hours of Sunday morning.
