An area of wasteland close to Limerick city has been sealed off as part of an investigation into a report of a missing person.
Gardaí from Mayorstone Park sealed off the wasteland, which is close to Moyross, this afternoon.
The Garda Technical Bureau is currently conducting a full technical investigation of the area.
A spokesman for the gardaí said no further information was currently available regarding the investigation due to "operational reasons."
