The Garda at Rathcoole in Co Dublin have begun an investigation after a man was injured in a shooting incident last night.
The man was injured after shots were fired at a house in the Blackchurch area shortly after 11pm. He was taken to Tallaght Hospital, where his injuries are said not to be life-threatening.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
