Gardaí have appealed for information after a woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run incident in Rathgar last night.
The woman, who is understood to be a student in her early 20s, was hit as she crossed the Rathgar road in the south of the city.
She was taken to St James's hospital, where her condition has been described as very serious.
A man (30) has been arrested and is being held at Rathmines Garda Station.
