Gardaí have tonight issued an appeal for help in finding a boy who has been missing since yesterday.
Szymon Bareja (14), who is Polish, was last seen at his home at Ciamalta Meadows, Nenagh, Co Tipperary, at 2pm.
He is described as being 5ft 5in tall, nine stone in weight, with short black hair. Szymon was last seen wearing a black hoody zipped front, black/grey cotton trousers elasticated at the angles, with the name "Animal" along the side of the trousers.
He was also wearing new black Nike runners with a white rim around the sole.
According to gardaí, the he boy has two distinctive scars - one on the right cheek below his right eye and a reversed "L" shaped scar on his forehead just above the hairline.
