Gardaí in Donegal are hunting a gang of four men believed to have stolen money from ATMs at two service stations overnight.

In the first incident, a group of men wearing balaclavas broke into a service station in Ramelton at about 12.20am and stole money from a cash machine.

About 40 minutes later, the gang men burgled a service station in Newtowncunningham and also stole cash from an ATM.

Both stations were closed at the time.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

Gardai believed the same gang of three men were responsible for the two raids. They are suspected of having an accomplice driving them in a silver Audi.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information or who may have seen any suspicious activity at either location in recent days is asked to contact Milford Garda Station on 074 9153060, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
