Bow Street Magistrates' Court in central London issued the extradition order after a hearing this morning.

Mr Michael Furlong, previously of Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, faces charges of dangerous driving causing the death of Natalie Freeman (15) in March 2002.

Ms Freeman was a passenger in the car allegedly driven by Mr Furlong which hit a wall near Bagnalstown, Co Carlow, in the early hours of the morning. He subsequently failed to turn up in court to face a charge of dangerous driving in connection with the incident.
