Customs officers have arrested a woman after two kilos of MDMA powder were seized earlier today at Dublin Airport.

Customs officers have arrested a woman after two kilos of MDMA powder were seized earlier today at Dublin Airport.

The woman (28), who is believed to be from Galway, has been taken to Santry Garda Station for questioning.

The powder could have been used to manufacture ecstasy tablets worth €200,000.

The find was the result of an operation mounted to stop drugs from reaching the Oxegen Festival in Punchestown.
