Dressed in a grey shirt and black trousers, he made his third appearance at Dublin District Court yesterday.

Defence solicitor Con Pendred told Judge Hugh O’Donnell that there was consent to Mr Burch being further remanded in custody pending the preparation of a book of evidence.

Mr Burch, who has not indicated how he will plead to the charge, did not address the court during his brief hearing.

He is due to appear in court again on August 22nd.
