Funeral of man attacked at home

The funeral took place yesterday of the Tyrone pensioner who died following a violent robbery in his home last weekend. Mr Ernest Gilmore (77) was buried in the village of Moy. Four masked robbers tied up and beat Mr Gilmore and his wife Annie (77), after bursting into their home. A post-mortem found Mr Gilmore died of natural causes, but police said his death had been brought on by his ordeal.
