Kota Kinabalu - Four Malaysians held hostage by Philippine rebels for 12 weeks arrived home yesterday after being released from a hideout on the island of Jolo.
The four landed at an airport in Kota Kinabalu, capital of the east Malaysian state of Sabah, where 21 hostages were kidnapped on April 23rd from Sipadan island and taken to Jolo, 960 km south of Manila.
There was no word on the three remaining Malaysian hostages abducted by the rebels from Sipadan. Malaysia has denied that it paid ransom to free the hostages.
