Dushanbe - Four UN employees were shot dead "in cold blood" in the former Soviet republic of Tajikistan on Monday, the United Nations said yesterday. The head of the UN observer mission in the country ordered all its personnel to return to the capital, Dushanbe, after the murders of two military observers, one from Poland and the other from Uruguay, a Japanese civilian and a Tajik interpreter.
