Gardaí have seized seized firearms, ammunition and a small quantity of cannabis resin in the Crumlin area of Dublin.
Gardaí from Sundrive Road made the seizures at a house last Wednesday following an intelligence led operation.
A man (47) was arrested and taken to Sundrive Road Garda Station under Section 30 Offences against the State Act 1939.
He has been charged and is expected to appear before Dublin District Court on September 10th.
Garda investigations are continuing.
