A father and son appeared at a special sitting of Ballybay District Court yesterday. Mr Michael Byrne (54) and his son, Paul (30), both from College Road, Clane, Co Kildare, were remanded in custody to appear at Drogheda District Court on Friday.
Both men, said to be in the motor repair industry, were charged with knowingly handling a stolen jeep. They were arrested on Sunday by gardai and taken to Carrickmacross Garda station.
