Family escape injury in Down petrol bombing

A family of four escaped injury after a petrol bomb was thrown at their Killyleagh, Co Down, home last night.

A family of four escaped injury after a petrol bomb was thrown at their Killyleagh, Co Down, home last night.

No one was hurt, but a window was broken and wall was damaged at 11.45pm.

Police are investigating a possible link with another petrol bombing that damaged a car in nearby Osborne Drive, Shrigley, at around midnight.

Two groups of South Koreans were also targeted in a petrol bomb attack in Newtownabbey earlier this week.
