Family devastated as house collapses

London - For the Willis family it had been a long, and expensive, five months. They have already spent thousands of pounds trying to save their £750,000 three-storey Victorian house from the effects of subsidence. But as the builders worked on underpinning the property in Notting Hill, west London, yesterday, a small crack appeared and within minutes the whole house collapsed.
