A fairy story competition has been launched in Dublin by the Tara's Palace Trust, a charity set up to help children.

A fairy story competition has been launched in Dublin by the Tara's Palace Trust, a charity set up to help children.

The palace is a doll's house which is being built at the Dublin Writers' Museum on Parnell Square. The trustees are seeking "an imaginative and original fairy story", which is no more than six typed AS pages in length. "Tara" after whom the palace is named, should be the central character.

Entries should be sent to the Tara's Palace competition, 18 Parnell Square, Dublin 1. The closing date for entries is January 30th, 1997.
