Two viable improvised explosive devices have been made safe in Co Wicklow.

Two viable improvised explosive devices have been made safe in Co Wicklow.

They were dealt with by army bomb disposal experts in Bray early today.

The Defence Forces deployed the team to an address at Ballywaltrim Heights following a request by the gardaí around midnight.

The scene was declared safe at 1am, and the devices were handed over to the gardaí for their investigations.
