Events to mark work-life balance day

The Equality Authority will today mark Work Life Balance Day with a series of events for employers, trade unions and workers.

The Equality Authority will today mark Work Life Balance Day with a series of events for employers, trade unions and workers.

The events will promote flexible working arrangements to help employees to combine their jobs with other activities.

National Framework Committee for Work Life Balance Policies first organised the annual events in 2001.

"It is a win-win strategy for all," said an Equality Authority spokesman. "Employers who offer flexibility to staff, find that they attract applications from a wider and more diverse pool of talent.
