The euro-zone industrial producer price index decreased by 0.1 per cent in December 2003 compared with the previous month, Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Communities, said today.
EU15 prices remained unchanged.
In November 2003 prices rose by 0.1 per cent in the euro-zone and 0.3 per cent in the EU15.
In December 2003 compared to December 2002, industrial producer prices increased by 1.0 per cent in both the euro-zone and the EU15.
Compared to the previous month, prices in total industry decreased by 0.1 per cent in the euro-zone, but remained unchanged in the EU15 in Decmeber.
