Temperatures are set to reach 16 degrees on Thursday as the fine spell of weather continues across most of the country.

Dry weather is expected throughout most of the day but the south should experience cloudier conditions with the chance of patchy light rain in the southwest, Met Éireann said.

There will be slight ground frost in areas overnight as temperatures fall as low as 3 degrees while some rain is expected along the south coast.
