MANAGUA - More than 60 people, most of them electoral officials, were kidnapped yesterday in northern Nicaragua and apparently taken to Honduras, according to officials of the Supreme Electoral Council.
The kidnapping happened near the Honduran border where the group was distributing election materials for an October 20th presidential vote.
