Fine Gael has criticised the Government's decision to postpone the elections for Udaras na Gaeltachta, the State development authority in Gaeltacht areas. The elections were due to be held on June 11th, the same day as the European and local authority polls. However, the Minister of State for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands, Mr Eamon O Cuiv, announced this week that the Udaras vote would be postponed until October.
