An 81-year-old woman was fatally injured today when she was struck by a car in Co Cork.
The woman was walking on the road at Slip, Bantry shortly after midday when she was hit by the car.
Her body has been removed to the local hospital in Bantry.
Gardaí are investigating the incident.
