Botanic Gardens - Horticultural Courses Open Day

An open afternoon will be held at the Teagasc College of Amenity Horticulture, National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin, Dublin on Tuesday, March 27th from 2pm to 5pm.

The college provides degree and certificate courses in horticulture. The three-year degree course Hetac Level 7 is conducted in partnership with the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown .

Stillorgan College of Further Education Open Day

Lecture Series at UCC

Prof Fan Hong will give a lecture entitled The Physical Reconstruction of the Female Body and the Reconceptualisation of Femininity in China 1840-1949 tomorrow from 5pm to 6pm in room G1, Kane Building, UCC.

Lectures are open to the public and admission is free.

UCD seminar for women considering an MBA

UCD Michael Smurfit School of Business is hosting an evening seminar tomorrow specifically for women interested in undertaking the MBA. The event is part of a campaign to encourage more women to take up an MBA and will provide an opportunity to network with female MBA alumni and students.

Dublin Institute of Technology, in association with the European Commission Representation Ireland, is hosting a seminar on EU policy communication at 6.30pm on Thursday, March 22nd in DIT Aungier Street, Dublin 2. Speakers include Francis Jacobs, head of the European Parliament Office Dublin, Alan Dukes of the Institute of European Affairs, Patricia McKenna of the Green Party and Dan O'Boyle of Wilson Hartnell PR.
