The MusicFest in the Ark, the children's cultural centre in Temple Bar, Dublin, goes on until Sunday.
Although all school performances are booked out, extra family performances at the weekend have been arranged to cope with public demand - hardly surprising when you look at what's on offer: Graffiti Classics playing the classics with "pluck and fizz"; jazz pianist Julian Joseph and his quartet (here thanks to the support of the British Council) performing a wide range of music; a group of six drummers treating us to West African percussion; a Scottish duo using percussion and clarinets to involve the audience; and Early Adventures, from Quebec, Canada, showing off with a visual concert.
