Matures bloom at Maynooth

THE NUI Maynooth has a reputation for being a particularly "user-friendly" environment for mature students

THE NUI Maynooth has a reputation for being a particularly "user-friendly" environment for mature students. The College has a wide range of undergraduate courses open to mature students in arts, sciences, new technology and engineering and it has a very good record of accepting those over 23 years of age onto its courses. Research by the college has shown that mature students do well there and that they are more likely to get a good degree and less likely to drop out than colleagues who came to college as school-leavers.

The closing date for applications for undergraduate courses is February 1st next so if you're interested it would be worthwhile getting some information now on what's on offer and leaving yourself time to think about subject choices and ask any questions you might have concerning the application procedure or the course content. The admissions office can be contacted at (01)708 3822 or email admissions@may.ie and the university's website address is http://www.may.ie
