Kerry on-line

Almost 100 schools in the Kerry area are linked through the Kerry Local Area Schools Network (KLASNET), which was officially launched earlier this month by Chief Justice Hugh O'Flaherty of the Supreme Court. KLASNET is designed to provide a schools' Internet network which can be operated by those with a minimum of technological know-how. The network hub is at Tralee IT. As well as schools, Tralee General Hospital and Kerry Co Council are involved in the initiative. The web address is http:// klasnet.ittralee.ie
