Gore no bore in US school visits

As the race for the presidential election in the US heats up the politicians in the running are resorting to the usual "kissing babies" tactics. Al Gore has done his share and has also outlined his education policies while visiting schools.

Since March Gore has made comprehensive visits to seven schools. His modus operandi is to spend the evening before the school day with teachers or parents from the school in question and then to spend the next school day attending classes with the children. His most recent return to the classroom occurred in Lewistown High, Maine, where he showed his computer skills by correcting the kids in history class when they put a dot in the wrong place while looking up the US national archives on the Internet.
