Where did you go to college? University College Galway (now NUI Galway), where I did a BComm through Irish and a BA in economics. Studied for my MComm in UCD.

Best subject? Business

Worst subject? French

Most inspirational teacher? No comment

What's the best thing about the Irish education system? That there are so many choices for people to study their interests at third level

What's the worst thing about the Irish education system? That some groups in society have very limited access to education

What song most reminds you of your school days? Yellow Submarine by The Beatles
