THE DUBLIN Rape Crisis Centre is offering a two-day course on sexual abuse counselling specifically designed for guidance counsellors. The course will take place on November 5th and 6th, and costs £150, Early booking is advisable.
The DRCC will also re-run its one day workshop entitled "Sexual abuse issues", on Friday, December 6th. This course should be useful for primary and second-level teachers, and for principals who may have to handle a disclosure of sexual abuse.
The cost of this course is £50, and no previous training is required.
