THE closing date for receipt of applications for the postgraduate course for primary teaching has been extended to 5 p.m. this Friday, 28th. Application forms and full details are available from the four colleges of education: St Patrick's College, Drumcondra, Dublin; St Mary's College, Griffith Ave, Dublin; Mary Immaculate College, Limerick, and The Froebal College, Sion Hill, Dublin. Applicants should note they can apply to one college only.

Those who apply should note that in the case of Irish, a Grade C in that subject in the Matriculation Examination will be accepted in lieu of the Leaving Certificate or GCSE requirement. Interviews for eligible applications will be held very shortly after Friday.
