Careers World, a showcase of interactive multimedia resource material representing 23 Irish and multi-national companies, will be launched in Dublin today by Micheal Martin, the Minister for Education and Science. This response to the needs of career guidance counsellors, parents and students will be distributed free to all second- and third-level institutions. It comprises a full-colour ring binder and a set of CD-ROMs with details of up to 160 jobs from sponsoring companies. Organised in association with The Irish Times and RTE, it offers a range of information to help in the search for a career.

There is advice on job search skills, CVs, interviews and an outline of up to 300 jobs and a selection of recruitment policies and procedures from companies.
