EDINBURGH - A new outbreak of E coli food poisoning, which killed 18 old people in Scotland late last year, has caused the death of a woman in her 90s, health officials said yesterday.
Five more old people were taken ill in the outbreak, which the officials said was not related to the earlier epidemic in Lanarkshire, in which 400 people suffered.
