Dublin Zoo today unveiled a female white rhinoceros which has become its latest attraction.

The rhino calf was born last week and is yet to be named.

The white rhino is listed as "near threatened" to "critically endangered", depending on the sub species.

The Phoenix Park zoo has seen a number of births in recent months, with a bull elephant calf born in February and a female elephant calf, Asha, born in May last year.
