Gardaí from the Sundrive Road Drugs Unit in Dublin have seized a quantity of drugs valued at €500,000.
The seizure was made during the planned search of a house in the Croftwood Estate in Ballyfermot last night.
The drugs seized include heroin and cannabis with an estimated street value of E500,000.
One man in his 30's is being held at Sundrive Road Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
