Flights at Dublin airport were returning to normal today after nearly two daysof disruption.

Thick fog on Friday led to a number delays, many of up to 12 hours.

Although most of the passenger backlog was cleared holidaymakers waiting fortwo chartered flights were forced to spend last night at the airport.

The passengers who had been due to leave yesterday were now expected to departby around mid-morning.

Airport operating company Aer Rianta advised passengers to contact theirairline before travelling.
