A man was charged yesterday with 24 drug offences following an undercover police operation in the Waterworks area of north Belfast. Mr Stephen Allen (25), of no fixed address, was charged with possessing and supplying ecstasy and cannabis on dates between May 26th and his arrest last Friday.
A prosecuting lawyer told the Magistrates' Court that when Mr Allen was arrested he had £285 in cash, including £30 paid to him by undercover police officers to buy drugs.
He was remanded in custody for a week.
