A file is to be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions after sex-abuse allegations at a school for mildly handicapped teenage students in the Mid West region. Two men were questioned this week after an 18-month investigation which involved some 10 complaints of sexual abuse in the school. The men, who are staff members, were released without charge after questioning. They have been suspended from school duties on full pay pending completion of the investigation. Parents of students attending the school complained to gardai who stress that the allegations are being "strenuously denied" by those accused.
