Double stabbing in Limerick

Two middle-aged Limerick brothers were set upon by two men and stabbed at Cliona Park, Moyross, shortly before 2 a.m

Two middle-aged Limerick brothers were set upon by two men and stabbed at Cliona Park, Moyross, shortly before 2 a.m. yesterday when they came out of their house to investigate interference with a family car.

The 50-year-old occupant of the house received multiple stab wounds to the head and upper body and his 46-year-old brother, who was on a visit from England, received five stab wounds to the back, one of which punctured a lung. Both victims are recovering at Limerick Regional Hospital.
