Freetown - Forces loyal to Sierra Leone's military rulers are reported to have retaken the diamond town of Tongofield after a fierce battle with a traditional hunters' militia loyal to the ousted President, Mr Ahmad Tejan Kabbah. Military commanders said soldiers and their Revolutionary United Front rebel allies retook the eastern town after an overnight raid in which 50 kamajors - as the hunters are known - were killed.
