The Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources, Mr Dermot Ahern, today announced that Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) the national agency for promotion of renewable energy, is to move from Dublin to the Minister's hometown of Dundalk.

Forty two jobs will be decentralised in the move to a purpose built facility on the campus of the Dundalk Institute of Technology.

Mr Frank Convery, chairman of SEI, the new location close to the Border would partner the development and implementation of an all-island sustainable energy strategy.
