Depositions were taken from witnesses yesterday at a special sitting of Galway District Court in a case involving the husband of the murder victim Mrs Philomena Gillane. Mr Pat Gillane (34), of Glenbrack, Gort, Co Galway, is charged with soliciting two men in January 1994 to murder his wife.
