Lindsay Davenport completed her return from knee surgery by defeating fellow American Monica Seles in three sets for her third Pan Pacific Open title today.
Davenport earned her first crown since October 2001, posting a 6-7 (6-8) 6-1 6-2 triumph for her ninth win in 12 career meetings with Seles.
The victory came just over a year after knee surgery sidelined her for six months.
