The date for the sentencing of a man who has pleaded guilty to having sex with a girl under the age of 15 in Mayo nearly nine years ago has been fixed for June 20th.
Last month, the defendant, pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court to having unlawful carnal knowledge of the girl on a date between July 27th and December 31st, 1987.
He also admitted two charges of sexually assaulting her, so as to cause injury or degradation, on February 13th-14th, 1991.
