Washington - Driven from his Chinese-ruled Himalayan homeland 40 years ago, the Dalai Lama will take to cyberspace today in what is being billed as his first online worldwide chat session.

America Online yesterday said its members will be able to "talk" with the exiled political and spiritual leader of Tibet at 5.45 p.m. EDT (10.45 p.m. Irish time), at AOL Keyword: AOL Live.
