The Games Administration Committee of the GAA confirmed today Croke Park will stage all four Bank of Ireland football quarter-finals over the bank holiday weekend.

Ulster champions Armagh and back-door specialists Sligo get the extravaganza under way at 2.30 p.m. on Sunday; All-Ireland champions Galway and form team Kerry clash at 4.15 p.m.

On Monday, Cork and Mayo play off at 2.30 p.m. before Leinster champions Dublin duel with Mickey Moran’s Donegal at 4.15 p.m.

The GAA discussed the fixture details with Croke Park’s Local Residents Associations. They said that they had no objection to scheduling games for consecutive days, provided the bank holiday Monday was used rather than Saturday.
