A former Yugoslav army colonel has pleaded not guilty at The Hague war crimes tribunal today to charges of complicity in the 1991 mass killing of 200 men and women near the Croatian town of Vukovar.
Mr Veselin Sljivancanin, one of the so-called "Vukovar Three" charged with responsibility for the notorious massacre by Serb forces in Croatia's 1991-95 independence war, pleaded not guilty to all six counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
